Without
an
iota
of
doubt,
Ek
Hasina
Thi(2004)
is
an
important
milestone
in
'Chote
Nawab',
Saif
Ali
Khan's
career.
While
Saif
was
already
a
star,
Saif
Ali
Khan
'the
actor',
grabbed
the
eyeballs
with
his
superb
yet
sophisticated
negative
act.
Ek
Hasina
Thi
also
marked
the
debut
of
one
of
the
most
talented
new
directors,
Sriram
Raghavan.
He
justified
the
faith
reposed
in
him
by
the
fans
(of
his
brand
of
cinema)
with
his
critically
acclaimed
thriller,
Johnny
Gaddaar,
and
gave
the
industry
a
new
talent,
in
the
form
Neil
Nitin
Mukesh.
However,
the
question
on
everyone's
lips
(especially
their
fans)
is
whether
the
team
of
Raghavan
and
Saif
will
come
together
again,
with
their
kind
of
really
'hatke'
cinema.
We
decided
to
ask
the
talented
director
himself.
And
here
is
the
good
news!
Says
Raghavan,
"Yes,
we
are
in
the
midst
of
discussions,
and
once
the
details
are
finalized,
a
project
with
Saif
Ali
Khan
may
happen
sometimes
next
year."
Well,
here's
hoping
for
the
official/formal
announcement
soon.
