We
all
know
that
whenever
any
Bollywood
film
is
being
made,
it
mostly
has
two
titles,
the
first
is
the
working
title
and
the
second
is
the
confirmed
title.
But
the
following
news
is
bound
to
turn
the
general
norms
of
film
titling.
Some
days
back,
when
the
master
filmmaker
Shyam
Benegal
had
announced
his
first
plunge
in
the
comedy
arena
with
Mahadev
Ka
Sajjanpur
starring
Shreyas
Talpade
and
Amrita
Rao,
little
did
he
know
that
he
will
land
up
renaming
the
same
as
Welcome
To
Sajjanpur.
For
starters,
the
film
shows
Shreyas
playing
'Mahadev',
the
only
literate
person
amongst
the
illiterates
in
a
village
called
Sajjanpur.
Not
many
know
that
it's
actually
the
sets
of
Ramoji
studios
that
got
converted
into
a
small
village
called
Sajjanpur.
And
whenever
the
cast
used
to
report
on
the
sets,
it
had
almost
become
a
ritual
that
they
used
to
greet
each
other
by
saying
"Welcome
To
Sajjanpur".
That's
when
Shreyas
hit
upon
an
idea
and
requested
Shyam
Benegal
to
rename
the
film
as
Welcome
To
Sajjanpur,
a
suggestion
that
Shyam
loved
so
much
that
he
immediately
renamed
the
film
from
Mahadev
Ka
Sajjanpur
to
Welcome
To
Sajjanpur.
Way
to
go,
Shreyas!
