If
all
goes
well,
Bollywood
superstar
Aamir
Khan,
who
has
resigned
from
the
Copyright
Act
amendment
committee,
is
likely
to
withdraw
his
resignation
letter.
HRD
minister
Kapil
Sibal
said
that
Aamir
is
reconsidering
coming
back
to
the
panel.
Veteran
lyricist
Javed
Akhtar
along
with
Vishal
Bhardwaj
met
the
minister
and
handed
a
letter
to
him.
He
said
that
he
never
doubted
Aamir's
intentions
and
that
his
objective
is
the
same
as
that
of
the
songwriters'.
Aamir
Khan
had
earlier
submitted
his
resignation
letter
to
Kapil
Sibal
over
disagreement
with
Javed
Akhtar.
"I
feel
I
have
a
lot
to
contribute
to
the
ongoing
debate
but
I
cannot
make
any
meaningful
contribution
in
this
atmosphere.
Aggression
of
this
type
leaves
me
feeling
very
disillusioned
and
sad
and
I
am
unable
to
function.
Therefore
I
request
you
to
accept
my
resignation
from
this
committee
and
please
appoint
another
person
in
my
place.
I
believe
that
amendments
to
the
Copyright
Act
are
long
overdue," he
wrote.
