Jha's
upcoming
film
Aarakshan,
has
been
barred
from
speaking
on
the
reservation
issue
in
any
part
of
Uttar
Pradesh.
The
director
producer
Jha
is
very
disappointed
and
has
seeked
an
answer
from
Chief
Minister
Mayawati
on
the
ban.
Jha
is,
determined
to
make
the
lead
actor
talk
on
the
reservation
subject
in
UP.
Therefore
he
planned
of
a
seminar
on
job
reservations
in
Lucknow
University.
But
failed
to
get
the
permission.
The
director
then
hired
the
Indira
Gandhi
auditorium
inoder
to
hold
a
seminar,
but
again
they
were
denied
permission
by
the
Lucknow
Development
Authority.
The
filmmaker
therefore
has
gone
ahead
to
ask
a
question
to
the
CM
on
the
matter.
"I
want
to
ask
her
what
the
problem
is.
Does
the
UP
administration
fear
a
law
and
order
situation
because
of
Aarakshan?" told
Prakash
Jha
to
Mid
Day.
The
ace
filmmaker
is
also
willing
to
show
Aarakshan
to
Mayawati
if
she
wants
to.
Jha
informs
that
he
had
left
the
message
with
someone
very
close
to
Mayawati
and
is
waiting
for
a
reply
from
her.
In
the
film,
Mr
Bachchan
plays
the
role
of
a
principal
of
a
college,
who
is
torn
by
job
reservation
issues.
The
film
also
stars
actors
Saif
Ali
Khan,
Deepika
Padukone
and
Prateik
Babbar
in
the
lead
role.
Aarakshan
is
slated
for
a
August
12
release.
