Ayushmann Khurrana's domestic help commits suicide

Mumbai: Actor Ayushmann-Khurrana's domestic help was found dead at his Goregaon residence here. The actor says he is "saddened", and that the matter is currently being looked into.

The domestic help, Rudra Prasad, 26, hung himself with a dupatta when Ayushmann and his wife Tahira were out of city. The body was discovered Saturday.

"It is very unfortunate. I am saddened by the news of my house help committing suicide. We are in the process of garnering all the information. All the due procedures are being observed," Ayushmann, who is currently shooting in Delhi, said in a statement.

Neighbours of Ayushmann Khurrana informed the police about foul smell coming out from his flat on Sunday, March 3. Meanwhile, the Mumbai police have registered a case of accidental death and the police is still investigating the cause.
