Ram Mandir Inauguration: Amitabh-Abhishek Bachchan, Madhuri Dixit, Ayushmann Khurrana Jet Off To Ayodhya
Ram Mandir Inauguration: January 22, 2024, will be a monumental day for all Indians as the Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha ceremony will take place today in Ayodhya. The Ram Lalla idol will be placed in the newly constructed Ram temple, and the pious occasion is being celebrated with great enthusiasm throughout the country.
Numerous celebrities have been invited to the grand event, and many, including Amitabh Bachchan, Chiranjeevi, Abhishek Bachchan, Madhuri Dixit, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Katrina Kaif, Vicky Kaushal, Ram Charan, Jackie Shroff, and Rohit Shetty, among others, were spotted on Monday morning leaving in traditional outfits to grace the inauguration.
Amitabh-Abhishek Bachchan
Amitabh Bachchan and son-actor Abhishek Bachchan were seen leaving Mumbai together to attend the Pran Pratishtha ceremony in Ayodhya today. Big B wore a white kurta, pants, a beige half jacket, a grey muffler, and sneakers, and he also carried a book with him. While Abhishek was dressed in a casual hoodie and pants.
Madhuri Dixit
Bollywood actress Madhuri Dixit, along with her husband Sriram Nene, was spotted at Kalina airport as they jetted off to Ayodhya. Madhuri looked mesmerising in a mustard yellow embellished saree, which she teamed up with a full-sleeve golden blouse. She posed with her husband, Dr Shriram Nene, who wore a maroon kurta layered with a maroon and golden jacket and a white pyjama.
Jackie Shroff
Jackie Shroff was seen in his usual element as he donned an all-white ethnic outfit and carried a plant with him. He posed for the paps before heading for the event.
Ayushmann Khurrana
Ayushmann Khurrana also made a brief appearance for the paparazzi at the Kalina airport in a statement in an off-white-coloured kurta pyjama, which he layered with an embroidered beige-coloured Nehru Jacket. To complete his look, he wore a stole around his neck and brown footwear.
Other celebs to attend the Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha ceremony
Several other celebs, like Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif, Alia Bhatt-Ranbir Kapoor, and Rohit Shetty, were seen on Monday morning leaving for Ayodhya. Meanwhile, Rajinikanth, Kanagna Ranaut, Anupam Kher, Vivek Oberoi, and others have already reached the holy city.
The Pran Pratishtha of Shri Ram Lalla in Ayodhya's temple will begin at 12.20 pm and end by 1 pm. The 51-inch-tall and 1.5-tonne-weighing, five-year-old child idol of Lord Ram will be placed inside the sanctum sanctorum of the temple. The standing idol has been crafted on a lotus figure made with the same stones.
