New Pictures: Dilip Kumar On His Way Home, After Getting Discharged From Hospital

Bollywood's yesteryear Dilip Kumar is back home, after being discharged yesterday (September 26, 2013) from the Lilavati Hospital. He was admitted in the hospital on September 15, after he suffered from a heart attack.

Dilip Kumar was moved out of the Intensive Care Unit a few days back as his condition had improved. As per the reports, he has recovered a lot, hence, he was discharged. "He is better and hence it was decided to take him home," said a source close to the actor's family.

Somedays back, Amitabh Bachchan had gone to visit Dilip Kumar at the hospital. "He seemed cheerful, at least when he saw me. Sairaji (Dilip Kumar's wife) warned me that he had been quite irritable and non-cooperative throughout the day, and so to excuse any kind of untoward behaviour that he may dole out to me. But he was gracious and kind," Big B said.

On the micro-blogging site Twitter, Dilip Kumar has even thanked everyone for their love and prayers and also posted a video to show that he is doing much better. We hope and pray for the veteran actor's speedy recovery.
