Soha Dares To Talk About The Injustice Happened In Anti-Sikh Riots

Soha Ali Khan is going to play the protagonist in a film that is based on 84 Anti Sikh Delhi riots. Her brother, Saif Ali Khan has done remarkably off beat roles in movies like Being Cyrus and Omkara which fetched him high critical acclaim. Now it is Soha's turn to do novel roles that satisfy her as an actor.

The movie based on Delhi riots, titled as October 31st, is a high intensity drama that will reflect a socio political era of India. The title of the film is inspired from the date of Indira Gandhi assassination. As an actor Soha thinks that the role is challenging and it taps her potential to the maximum.

Soha tells about the film, " the film will focus on the 24 hours post the assassination of the former Prime Minister and is inspired by a real life incident." In October 31st, Soha is playing a Sikh mother of two children. The realistic and gritty film that ventures into a highly controversial episode of Indian politics is directed by National Award winner Shivaji Patil.

Patil earlier has won national award for Best Direction for his film Dhag. As October31st has a very controversial subject, rest of the details about its story are not revealed yet.
