Welcome
Back,
would
have
drowned
in
serious
troubled
waters,
if
the
financial
crisis
was
not
sorted
out
in
the
nick
of
time,
both
the
director
and
actors
have
nipped
the
issue
in
the
bud
and
have
solved
the
matter,
at
least
for
the
moment.
Firoz
Nadiadwala,
the
producer
of
Welcome
Back,
has
not
cleared
pay
cheques
to
the
lead
actor
Anil
Kapoor,
and
director
Anees
Bazmee.
The
amount
due
is
substantial
and
the
remuneration
would
be
cleared
shortly.
Anil
Kapoor
and
Anees
Bazmee
had
decided
to
stop
the
movies
release
on
September
4,
2015
by
seeking
permission
from
the
Film
Federation
until
their
payments
were
cleared.
A
source
informed
on
the
issue
saying,
"Firoz
owes
Anees
Rs.
4
crores
and
Anil
Kapoor
Rs.
4-5
crores.
Both
demanded
their
dues
be
cleared
before
the
film's
release.
However
better
sense
prevailed
with
time.
Anees
and
Anil
decided
to
not
obstruct
the
film's
release
for
their
dues.
And
now
the
film
would
be
released
on
time."
Along
with
the
payment
issues,
Welcome
Back
has
faced
15
verbal
cuts
from
the
Censor
Board.
Though
the
movie
is
rated
as
'UA'
certificate,
it
had
a
few
verbal
explicites
that
were
objected
by
the
Censor
Board.
Welcome
Back's
original
length
was
170
minutes,
and
now
is
152
minutes
after
the
15
verbal
cuts.
Director
Anees
Bazmee,
spoke
out
on
the
cuts
by
saying,
"The
cuts
the
censor
board
has
asked
for
are
all
verbal...words
like
saala
have
been
asked
to
be
deleted,
which
we've
happily
done.
However,
some
other
cuts,
we're
trying
to
explain
to
the
censor
board
why
the
words
are
there.
Every
member
of
the
censor
board
knows
my
films
don't
have
any
double
meanings
and
vulgar
dialogues.
So
many
cuts
seem
a
little
extreme."
Welcome
Back,
is
a
sequel
of
the
2007
movie
Welcome,
and
is
currently
all
set
to
hit
the
theatres
crossing
all
obstacles,
on
September
4,
2015.
Money
Trouble
Anil
Kapoor
finally
decided
not
to
bring
the
movie
release
to
a
halt
for
his
payment
issues.
The
matter
would
be
sorted
out
soon
after
the
release.
Director's
Special
Anees
Bazmee
too
decided
not
to
bring
the
Welcome
Back
release
to
a
halt
on
his
payment
issues.
The
matter
would
be
sorted
out
soon
after
the
release.
