First Schedule Of Shahrukh Khan's Raees Completed

The first schedule of superstar Shahrukh Khan's upcoming movie Raees has been completed. The film's shoot was delayed due to 49-year-old Shahrukh's recent knee injury and rains in Mumbai.

Raees, being directed by Rahul Dholakia, also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui and marks the Bollywood debut of Pakistani actress Mahira Khan.

"Feels like the last day of exams at school. Crew sings in between set up's as #raees first schedule almost comes to an end," tweeted Dholakia. Shooting of Raees suffered a delay due to continuous rain and also the superstar's knee injury. SRK some days back tweeted, "Feel awful the whole of Raees team fighting against rain & time...my injury hampering Ravi Varma, Rahul & Maneka even more. Damn!"

Nevertheless, the team has finally wrapped up the 1st schedule of the shoot and are is very happy. The action-thriller, set in 1980s Gujarat, chronicles the story of a bootlegger whose business is thwarted by a tough policeman. Produced by Excel and Red Chillies Entertainment, the movie is scheduled to release in 2016.

The movie Raees happens to be one of the most awaited flicks, like most of SRK films.
