Actor
Varun
Dhawan,
who
is
stepping
into
Salman
Khan's
shoes
for
Shuddhi,
seems
to
copy
Alia
by
giving
this
statement.
"I
will
not
say
anything
about
‘Shuddhi'.
People
have
said
a
lot
about
it,
but
as
an
actor,
my
job
is
to
act...
just
talking
about
is
not
going
to
help.
So,
all
that
I
will
do
is
act
and
let
the
audience
decide," says
Varun.
Karan
Johar's
Shuddhi
has
been
continuously
in
limelight
because
of
many
actors
signing
and
later,
leaving
the
project.
Recently,
Varun
Dhawan
and
Alia
Bhatt
were
finalised
by
Shuddhi's
director
Karan
Malhotra.
We
all
know
that
Karan
Johar
had
initially
offered
Shuddhi's
lead
roles
to
Hrithik
Roshan
and
Kareena
Kapoor.
Later,
the
duo
stepped
out
of
the
film
and
then
Salman
Khan
came
on
board
and
very
soon
rejected
the
film
too.
But,
it
seems
that
the
roles
were
Varun
and
Alia's
destiny.
Atleast
the
latest
developments
say
so.
Interestingly,
few
days
ago,
Highway
actress
made
a
similar
statement
by
saying,
"I
don't
want
to
say
too
much
about
it.
Of
course,
there
is
a
lot
that's
being
said
about
the
whole
thing.
And
I
want
the
visuals
and
all
to
come
out
for
the
people
to
see
what
the
film
is
looking
like,
rather
than
me
talking
about
it."
It
is
very
clear
from
their
statements
that
Varun
is
just
following
Alia's
way
to
deal
with
media
regarding
Shuddhi.
As
of
now,
Varun
Dhawan
is
busy
with
the
promotion
of
his
forthcoming
movie
ABCD
2.
