Varun Dhawan Wants To Make A Biopic On Dad David Dhawan

Actor Varun Dhawan, who is looking forward for his release, Remo D'Souza upcoming directorial venture ABCD 2, this Friday (June,19) along with Shraddha Kapoor, has recently disclosed his love for biopic films.

Reportedly, he went on air saying that he would like to make a biopic film on his real life super hero his dad David Dhawan, rather than any other iconic character!

"I would love to tell my father's story on screen because it's actually a rags to riches story. There is a man who comes from nowhere and makes a life. His journey should be celebrated." said Varun in a recent interview to DNA.

Though he also cleared the air by saying that currently he is not ready for doing biopics as he thinks acting as a real life character is a great responsibilty.

Mockingly, David Dhawan said that Varun is too busy nowadays that he does not have time for his dad. Whereas, Varun cleared his doubt by saying there is nothing like that.

ABCD 2 actor also mentioned that his dad's upcoming movie's genre will be the typical David Dhawan comedy and they will start working on film together from the next year.

Currently, Varun Dhawan is preoccupied with back to back three films including Rohi Shetty's Dilwale, KJo's Shuddhi and Rohit Dhawan's Dishoom.
