Chatrapathi Twitter Review: Actor Bellamkonda Sreenivas, who has done a couple of films in Tollywood is making his grand Bollywood debut with the remake of Prabhas-starrer Chatrapathi. The movie, which is directed by director VV Vinayak, who is also debuting in Hindi, hit the screen all over the world on May 12.

The movie Chatrapathi was originally helmed by SS Rajamouli in Telugu. It has Shriya Saran as the female lead. The movie is remade in Hindi by the same name after 17 years. While the film's teaser and trailer were reviewed to be interesting, it is yet to be seen how far Bellamkonda Sreenivas had made an impact with his Hindi debut.

Chatrapathi Story

In the undercurrent, Chatrapathi is the story of a separated mother and her adopted son, who becomes a leader of masses in the downtrodden fisherman community. After decades, he meets his half-brother, who is against him and prevents his mother to meet him. Meanwhile, Chatrapathi also has to protect his brother from villains while not revealing his identity to his mother, who thinks he is a threat to her younger son.

Chatrapathi Cast

Along with Bellamkonda Sreeenivas in the title role, Nushrratt Bharuccha, Sharad Kelkar, Bhagyashree, Amith Nair, Freddy Daruwala, Rajendra Gupta, Rajesh Sharma, Sahil Vaid, Shivam Patil, Ashish Singh, Swapnil, and Mohammad Monajir among other played crucial roles in the film.

Chatrapathi Crew

The film's story was penned by V Vijayendra Prasad and the dialogues are written by Mayur Puri. A Mahadev wrote the screenplay for Chatrapathi. Nizar Shafi and Niranjan Devaramane took care of the film's cinematography and editing respectively.

Ravi Basrur of KGF composed the background score for the film, and Tanishk Bagchi composed the tunes. Jayantilal Gada, Dhaval Gada, and Akshay Gada produced the movie under the Pen India Limited.
