American rapper and hip-hop sensation Melvin 'Magoo' Barcliff, who was an integral part of the celebrated rap duo Timbaland & Magoo since 1989, is dead. He was known for songs like 'Up Jumps Da' Boogie' from 1997, 'We at It Again' from 2000, and 'Party People' in 2001. As per sources, Magoo died on August 13 from a suspected heart attack at the age of 50, as reported by Kossy Derrick Ent. No details on his sudden death have been disclosed.

Actor Ankita Lokhande shared her first post on Sunday after her father Shashikant Lokhande's death. Her father died on Saturday morning around 11.45 am at the age of 68. His funeral took place in Mumbai on Sunday. On Sunday night, Ankita took to her Instagram Stories and shared the details of the prayer meet for her father. Dropping a card with her father's picture on it, the invitation read, "Prayer meet. You will be missed forever, Shashikant Lokhande. August 14, 2023, from 4 pm to 6 pm." The meet will be held in Malad West, Mumbai.

The sequel to 2001’s superhit movie Gadar: Ek Prem Katha, Gadar 2, on opening day earned Rs 40 crore, while on day 2 it made Rs 43.08 crore. On day 3, the film earned a whopping figure of Rs 52 crore, further taking its total collection to an outstanding 135.18 crore. It had an overall 85.29% Hindi occupancy on Sunday. Helmed by Anil Sharma, Gadar 2 is set amidst the 1971 Indo-Pak war. It follows Tara Singh as he goes to Pakistan in a daring attempt to rescue his son, Jette, played by Utkarsh Sharma, who has been captured by the country’s army and is being tortured.
