Rapper-composer Honey Singh has been booked for alleged kidnapping and assaulting an event organiser in a hotel in Mumbai. A person named Vivek Raman has filed a written complaint against the singer and others at the city’s BKC police station, Mumbai police said. "Vivek Raman, the owner of an event company, has lodged a complaint against Honey Singh and others for kidnapping, keeping him captive, and assaulting him," Mumbai Police stated. The incident took place on April 19, as per the organiser, who had organised a programme for the singer at Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) on April 15. Due to some errors in the money transaction, the show was cancelled. Following this, Honey Singh and his associates abducted Vivek, kept him hostage, and assaulted him.
