The

was
admitted
to
Kokilaben

in
Mumbai
on
January

after
suffering
a
shoulder
injury.
The
actor
underwent
tricep
surgery
on
the
same
day
following
an
old
injury.
And
now,
there
is
good

for
fans,
as
he
got
discharged
on

Saif
Ali
Khan
reacts
to
his
surgery
Speaking
to
Zoom
in
an
interview
following
his
surgery,
Saif
Ali
Khan
revealed
that
he
got
badly
hurt
only
on
his
tricep
and
dispelled
misinformation
about
'exaggerated
reports'
that
claimed
he
had
an
injured
knee
and
a
broken
back.
He
said
that
it
was
his
tricep
that
suffered
an
injury
and
stated,
"It
was
painful
for
a
very
long
time,
sometimes
more,
sometimes
less,
and
at
other
times
it
caused
unbearable
pain...
I
didn't
really
know
how
serious
the
injury
was.
Then
doing
an
action
sequence
for
Devara,
it
got
badly
hurt
again."
Khan
then
revealed
that
he
continued
working
with
the
pain,
but
slowly
"the
bandwidth
of
the
pain
increased." He
further
explained
about
the
injury
and
said,
'The
tricep's
tendon
was
torn
very
badly,
barely
holding
in
place
like
a
rubber
band
which
can
snap
at
any
moment."
"Fortunately,
some
self-preservatory
instinct
in
me
got
this
looked
at,
even
though
they
only
realized
how
bad
it
was
when
they
opened
it
up,"
he
told
the
outlet.
Saif
advised
to
take
a
month
break
The
doctors
have
advised
Saif
to
take
a
month's
break
to
recover
from
the
surgery.
He
said,
"I
have
a
month
off.
It
was
a
timely
surgery.
If
it
hadn't
been
done,
we
would
have
lost
something
or
the
other
in
the
arm."
Thanking
fans
and
the
hospital
staff,
the
actor
said
that
it
isn't
that
serious
and
that
he
will
be
home
soon.
"I
am
fine
now.
Brilliant
care
at
the
Kokilaben
hospital.
Top-class
medical
care.
Everything
is
good
now.
It
was
a
kind
of
preventive
surgery
and
just
in
time," the
actor
said.
