Aarya Season 3 Review: Sushmita Sen's Power-Packed Performance Leaves Us Wanting For More

In 2020, Sushmita Sen made her acting comeback with Disney+Hotstar's series Aarya. The show received a fantastic response, and by 2021 end, the makers came up with season 2 of the series. And now, after around 2 years, Aarya season 3 has started streaming on the OTT platform. So, is the series worth your time? Find out in our review below...

Aarya (Sushmita Sen) has now become a part of drug mafia and wants to rule, and of course protect her family. But, there's Sooraj (Indraneil Sengupta), Nandini's husband, who wants to take the revenge from Aarya for his wife's murder. Amid this, she also gets involved with Russian drug mafia. How Aarya protects herself and her family, forms the rest of the story...

While season 1 received an amazing response, season 2 got mixed reviews from critics and audiences. Many felt that the starting few episodes of Aarya 2 were a bit slow in pace and looked stretched. However, the makers have not done that mistake in Aarya season 3.

From the first scene itself, Aarya 3 is a thrilling ride. There are twists and turns in every 10 minutes and the series will keep you on the edge of the seat to know what's going to happen next. Ram Madhvani once again proves that he is one of the finest storytellers we have in the industry.

Performance wise, Sushmita Sen has once again given a power-packed performance. From being the gangster to a caring mother, the actress just nails it as Aarya in each and every scene. First Taali and now Aarya 3, she is definitely winning Best Actress Awards at all the OTT awards. After Sushmita, it is Viren Vazirani who grabs our attention with his amazing performance. Other supporting actors like Maya Sarao, Ila Arun, Indraneil Sengupta, and Shweta Pasricha are good in their respective roles. Sikander Kher is hardly there this time.

Well, Aarya season 3 will be premiered in two-parts. The first part has four episodes and they are very well narrated. The point that first part ends, it will surely make you eager to watch the part 2 of the series.

Overall, Aarya season 3 - part 1 is an engaging-thrilling series that leaves us wanting for more. Sushmita's fantastic performance surely deserves a watch.
