Ram
Madhvani's
Aarya
has
surely
given
a
big
boost
to
Sushmita
Sen's
career.
The
actress'
performance
as
Aarya
is
said
to
be
the
best
performance
she
has
given
till
now.
We
have
already
watched
2
and
a
half
seasons
of
Aarya,
and
we
are
gearing
up
for
the
second
part
of
season
3.
While
of
course
Sushmita
has
left
a
mark
in
and
as
Aarya,
do
you
know
she
wasn't
the
first
choice
for
it?
We
all
know
that
Aarya
was
initially
planned
to
be
made
as
a
movie
with
Kajol
in
the
lead
role.
But,
when
the
makers
decided
to
make
it
as
a
series,
Sushmita
was
not
the
first
choice.
Well,
it
was
Raveena
Tandon.
Recently,
in
an
interview,
with
Hindustan
Times,
Raveena
revealed
that
she
couldn't
do
Aarya.
She
stated,
"There
are
many
times
when
I've
met
Ram
and
Nikhil
(Madhok)
from
Hotstar
then,
that
I
said,
'We
have
to
do
something
(together).'
I'm
really
waiting
to
work
with
Ram.
I
had
to
explain
to
him
why
I
couldn't
do
Aarya.
Then
he
understood
my
reason."
Raveena
is
currently
busy
promoting
her
upcoming
web
show
titled
Karmma
Calling
which
also
stars
Varun
Sood
and
Namrata
Sheth.
During
the
same
interview,
Raveena
revealed
that
she
was
supposed
to
do
a
Dharma
film
(Karan
Johar
production)
which
also
starred
Varun
in
it.
But,
that
film
didn't
happen
and
when
Ruchi
Narain
(director
of
Karmma
Calling)
showed
her
Varun's
picture,
she
told
her,
"You
have
to
sign
him.
He
looks
like
my
son."
Karmma
Calling
is
Raveena's
second
web
series.
She
had
made
her
web
series
debut
with
Netflix's
Aranyak
in
which
she
played
the
role
of
a
cop.
Talking
about
Karmma
Calling,
the
series
will
premiere
on
Disney+
Hotstar
on
26th
January
2024.
The
trailer
of
the
series
has
grabbed
everyone's
attention.
