a
thirty

writer
who
lives
with
his
wife
and
son
in
a
cozy
little
apartment
in
Mumbai.
After
years
of
toiling
in
the
snaky
labyrinth
of
the
television
world,
he
has
finally
got
his
dreams
break
he
is
going
to
write
a
film!
He
and
his
family
are
thrilled
that
top
stars
will
be
mouthing
his
lines.
Just
as
he
is
dreaming
of
the
riches
and
the
glamour,
the
sudden
and
unannounced
arrival
of
a
dogmatic
long
lost
uncle
spirals
his
life
completely
out
of
control.
He
is
forced
to
go
against
his
placid
and
unassuming
nature
and
devise
schemes
to
get
rid
of
him,
further
sending
him
into
a
tailspin
of
misery.
Now,
this
is
one
happy
ending
which
even
he
is
finding
difficulties
in
scripting!

Sharma:
Munmun
Munmun
is
the
twenty
seven
year
old
wife
of
Puneet.
She
works
as
an
interior
designer
and
is
a
sweet
and
accommodating
person
who
not
only
places
a
high
premium
on
traditional
family
values,
but
is
also
ambitious
and
career
oriented.
Hence,
the
arrival
of
Chachaji
places
her
under
considerable
duress
and
she
copes
with
it
with
admirable
gusto,
validating
the
fabled
multi-tasking
ability
of
women.
But
when
Chachaji
idiosyncrasies
become
unbearable,
she
puts
her
foot
down
and
asks
Puneet
to
get
rid
of
him.

Lambodar
Bajpai
(a.k.a
Chachaji)
is
a
65
year
old
man
from
a
small
village
in
North
India
who
is
visiting
his
distant
nephew
Puneet
and
his
family
in
Mumbai.
An
extremely
eccentric,
head
strong
and
opinionated
person,
he
is
often
appalled
with
the
ways
of
the
modern
city
folks.
He
can
be
unpredictable,
goofy
and
mercurial,
but
is
also
loving,
warm
and
has
a
genuine
concern
for
the
people
around
him.
He
has
voluntarily
made
himself
comfortable
in
their
home
and
is
blissfully
unaware
of
the
schemes
being
designed
to
hasten
his
departure!
