Alone Movie Review: Audience Response
Alone movie hit the theatres today and if you are someone who loves to watch a good, horror movie that gives goosebumps then probably this one is not for you.
The movie starring Bipasha Basu and Karan Singh Grover is not an erotic horror movie like the makers told. The film does have a love making scenes but it is just for few seconds and then a song.

The entire movie is more focused on the horror aspect of the plot. Bhushan Patel has made a desperate attempt to scare us but the film fails to do so. If you are the sort you gets scared with sudden camera moments or sudden sounds or peek a boo appearances from ghost then probably you are going to love Alone movie.
But if your taste is like mine and have watched a fare deal of horror movies in life then Alone will not be your cup of tea. Having said that it is a movie that is in par with most of the horror films that were ever made in Bollywood.
The graphics are good and they have genuinely tried to spook you in comparison to all the funny, idiotic scenes Bollywood movies usually show.

The songs in the movie are a plus point because they are melodious and catchy and have been picturized well on the leading couple who star in the movie. Thankfully songs don't disturb you in the movie, one aspect that turned out good, as there were already many faults in the movie.
Bipasha is always in skimpy clothes, like as though the makers were facing budget problems and could not afford to buy her a pair of jeans, while Karan is busy sporting his natural pout lips, six pack abs and tattoos.

Based on the 2007 Thai horror flick of the same name, Alone has Bipasha play a double role. Bipasha exemplifies boldness in horror flicks. Although it seems nothing new in Alone. Karan Singh Grover as Kabir looks quite good in the movie. He and Bipasha share a good chemistry. As is usual in most Indian horror films quite a few scenes are borrowed from here and there.
