Ashton Kutcher installs closet in New York

New York (ANI): Ashton Kutcher has been giving surprise visits to New York residents, by performing handyman works on their homes.

The Butterfly Effect star is presently shadowing a real life closet installer from the Closet Factory, to research for an approaching movie role.

According to an insider, Ashton left the client in shock after installing a tie rack in the closet.

"The client was shocked that a celebrity was installing his closet. But he was such a great guy. Just a decent, normal guy," the New York Daily News quoted the insider, as saying.

The insider added that the actor even helped clean up flooding at the Closet Factory's Long Island City offices.

"People recognized him when he was out. One gentleman was sitting in traffic when he saw Ashton. He left his car idling, raced out and asked for an autograph," the insider said.
