The Game Plan tops the Box Office

Washington (ANI): Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson"s 'The Game Plan" has topped the weekend box office with an estimated 2.7 million dollars. The flick was followed by the Jamie Foxx and Jennifer Garner starrer 'The Kingdom" (17.7 million dollars) at the second spot, according to estimates by Exhibitor Relations.

'Resident Evil: Extinction" (8 million dollars) and 'Good Luck Chuck" (6.3 million dollars) secured third and fourth places respectively, reports E! Online. '3:10 to Yuma" rounded off the top five, at the fifth spot.

The top 10 films based on weekend estimates compiled by Exhibitor Relations is as follows:

  • The Game Plan, 22.7 million dollars
  • The Kingdom, 17.7 million dollars
  • Resident Evil: Extinction, 8 million dollars
  • Good Luck Chuck, 6.3 million dollars
  • 3:10 to Yuma, 4.2 million dollars
  • The Brave One, 3.7 million dollars
  • Mr. Woodcock, 3 million dollars
  • Eastern Promises, 2.9 million dollars
  • Sydney White, 2.7 million dollars
  • Across the Universe, 2.1 million dollars
