Washington (ANI): Giving water-ski lessons to his seven-year-old son Dylan has actor Michael Douglas reminiscing about his own youth. The Oscar winning actor spent the summer teaching his son water-ski on a lake he owns in Canada. The Falling Down actor recollected days of teaching water-skiing in Connecticut.

"When I was a young kid in high school I used to teach water-skiing in Connecticut... I was 16," Contactmusic quoted Douglas, as saying. Douglas, who is also a certified scuba diver, faced a serious skiing accident in 1980. The accident sidelined his acting career for three years. The actor has also revealed that he asked his seven-year-old son to pee on him, after being stung by a jellyfish this year. He said that he was stung on the back while scuba diving off the coast of Spain, and was left writhing in pain.

"My son was there... I said, 'Dylan, please pee-pee on daddy's back.' He kinda thought it was a trick question," Contactmusic quoted him as saying. "So he peed and it helped but the problem was that for the rest of the summer he was looking for jellyfish," he added.
