But his plans are derailed when he falls madly in love with Jennifer (Knightley), a darling of the social scene. The play opens at the Comedy Theatre on December 17 and runs until March 13.
London (ANI): Hollywood star Keira Knightley is set to make her debut on the West End stage later this year in a modern-day version of Moliere's comedy The Misanthrope. The 24-year-old will be seen playing an ambitious American film star, the love interest of a British playwright played by Band Of Brothers and Life actor Damian Lewis, who leads the cast, reports The Telegraph.
