London,
(ANI):
Eva
Longoria,
who
is
desperate
to
start
a
family,
may
have
to
wait
for
a
while
as
the
producers
of
Desperate
Housewives
have
banned
her
from
getting
pregnant.
The
actress,
who
is
very
keen
to
have
children
with
her
basketball
star
husband
Tony
Parker,
has
been
asked
to
postpone
her
baby
plans.
The
ban
comes
after
her
co-star
Marcia
Cross'
pregnancy
in
2006,
which
evidently
cause
big
problems
for
the
scriptwriters
of
the
show.
"Tony
and
I
are
working
on
expanding
our
family.
But
the
producer
has
forbidden
me
from
getting
pregnant
this
year.
Seriously!
Marcia's
pregnancy
came
as
a
big
surprise
and
posed
a
big
problem
for
the
scriptwriters," The
Daily
Star
quoted
the
actress
as
saying.
"Even
so,
I
love
being
a
real
housewife.
I
cook,
I
clean
up,
I
do
Tony's
washing,"
she
added.
She
does
say
that
her
work
routine
itself
might
delay
her
plans
to
get
pregnant."
"I
work
three
to
four
days
a
week
(in
Los
Angeles)
and
then
fly
to
Texas
to
spend
a
long
weekend
with
Tony.
This
means
we
can
only
have
sex
on
the
weekends."
