London
(ANI):
Veteran
actor
Dennis
Hooper's
'The
Last
Film
Festival'
co-stars
were
shocked
to
hear
about
his
cancer
reports.
His
movie
colleagues
were
stunned
to
know
that
the
73-year-old
actor
was
diagnosed
with
cancer
because
he
seemed
to
be
in
'great
health'
while
filming
the
comedy.
The
Easy
Rider
star
announced
publicly
his
battle
with
the
disease
in
October
09,
revealing
he
is
being
treated
for
prostate
cancer,
but
fresh
fears
of
his
health
sparked
in
March
(10),
when
he
was
too
sick
to
even
appear
at
a
deposition
in
his
ongoing
divorce
battle
with
wife.
Hopper
shot
scenes
for
'The
Last
Film
Festival'
in
early
(09),
just
months
after
his
illness
was
made
public.
Now,
director
Linda
Yellen
has
confessed
that
the
news
came
as
a
shock
to
her,
reports
The
Daily
Express.
"He
never
once
complained...
He
is
a
brilliant,
brilliant
man.
The
younger
cast
members
absolutely
worshipped
him," she
tells
New
York
Post
gossip
column
Page
Six.
"He
was
in
great
health
and
had
enormous
charisma
when
we
were
shooting.
He
eagerly
worked
long
days.
So
this
has
all
come
as
a
nasty
shock,"
she
added.
