Jane Lynch likely to star The Three Stooges

Actress Jane Lynch may join the star cast of the upcoming Hollywood film The Three Stooges. It was reported earlier that Sofia Vergara was in talks with 20th Century Fox to star in the comedy movie. According to sources, the 'Two and a Half Men' actress will play Mother Superior in the film.

The Three Stooges, which is being directed by Bobby and Peter Farrelly, is a physical comedy and Mother Superior is an important character in it. She runs the orphanage, where she tries to get adopted the trio Moe, Larry and Curly played by Chris Diamantopoulos, Sean Hayes and Will Sasso. Now, Jane Lynch is said to be playing this pivotal role.

However, Jane Lynch has been playing the role of Sue Sylvester in the Fox musical-comedy series 'Glee' since 2009. She has won an Emmy Award and a Golden Globe Award for the role. She has also appeared on other notable TV series like 'Two and a Half Men', 'The L Word', and 'Criminal Minds'. She has also given voice for Alice in animated movie Rio.
