Star Trek Into Darkness is a science fiction action film, which has been written by Roberto Orci, Alex Kurtzman and Damon Lindelof. The movie is all about Captain Kirk leading a manhunt to a war-zone world to capture a one man weapon of mass destruction after the crew of the Enterprise find an unstoppable force of terror from within their own organization.

Produced by Abrams, Bryan Burk, Lindelof, Kurtzman and Orci, the film features Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Karl Urban, Simon Pegg, Zoe Saldana, John Cho, Anton and Bruce Greenwood in the lead roles. The huge success of its previous installments has created lot of expectation about the latest film in the series. With the movie set to release, it should be seen whether it would meet the expectations.
