has
chosen
Actor
George
Clooney
and
would
honour
him
at
the
Golden
Globe
Awards
2015.
George
Clooney
will
receive
the
Cecil
B.
DeMille
Award
at
the
72nd
annual
Golden
Globes
award
ceremony.
The
ceremony
will
be
held
on
Jan
11th,
2015
at
the
Beverly
Hilton
Hotel
in
Hollywood.
The
award
is
presented
annually
to
an
individual
who's
made
"an
incredible
impact
on
the
world
of
entertainment".
Previous
year
recipients
of
the
lifetime
achievement
honour
include
Woody
Allen
and
Jodie
Foster.
Clooney,
a
four-time
Golden
Globe
winner,
is
also
a
two-time
Oscar
winner,
most
recently
as
producer
of
the
2013
best
picture
winner
"Argo".
He
has
appeared
in
over
40
films
and
TV
shows.
He
attained
star
status
with
the
1990s
TV
drama
"E.R."
before
moving
on
to
pursue
a
career
in
film.
The
53-year-old
has
directed
five
features,
including
"Good
Night
and
Good
Luck,"
"The
Ides
of
March"
and
"The
Monuments
Men."
Golden
Globe
Awards
2015
will
be
held
in
Hollywood
and
Tina
Fey
and
Amy
Poehler
will
host
the
ceremony.
