Grammy Awards 2015 is approaching near. While the countdown begins, we have the list of nominees for 2015 who are all set to grace the biggest music awards in the industry on Feb 8th.

Winning a Grammy nomination is a big deal and a dream come true for every artist in the music industry. Although we have seen Grammy record makers and highest winners, we would never forget to cherish the days when we first saw the star gracing Grammys red carpet.

Every year, we get to see new artists and many old ones who are still ruling the industry with their voice and talent. Newer artists like Iggy Azalea, Sia, Sam Smith and Meghan Trainor have got nominations this year. Sam Smith has got majority with 6 nods. Although Sia for example got her first Grammy nod in 2013, this might be the first time she would grace the red carpet.

Coming to old Grammy winners, we have some A-listers who have been a Grammy favourite for years. From Beyonce to Eminem, we have some of the every year nominees and winners who make records and add more trophies into their homes.

However, seeing their first Grammy appearance or their first big win is always a great thing. Before 2015 Grammys, here is a look at this year's nominees first Grammy moment.

Sam Smith

Starting with 2015's highest Grammy nominee, Sam Smith who made his Grammy debut in 2014.

Beyonce

Queen B is again a nominee this year who made her debut in 2000 when she was just 18! Beyonce was then a member of Destiny's Child. Beyonce has already won 17 Grammys, and she is the first female artist to win highest Grammys in one night (6 awards in 2010).

Jay Z

Queen Bey and her rapper husband, Jay Z are one of the highest Grammy winners till date. This year's nominee made his Grammy debut in 1999 and even won one out of 3 nominations the same year!

Ed Sheeran

Ed got his first Grammy nomination in 2013. This year, he has got nominated in 4 categories including Best Album.

Pharrell Williams

Giving tough competition to Ed Sheeran is Pharrell who also got 4 nods this year which includes Best Album. The 'Happy' singer got his first Grammy nomination in 2003 but won in 2004 for Producer of the Year.

Taylor Swift

Tay Tay is another Grammy nominee of 2015 who made her debut in 2008. However, her record making year was 2010 when she won for her album Fearless. Apart from Album of the Year, she also won 4 awards that year and became the Youngest Artist to win Best Album.

Ariana Grande

Grammy nominee, Ariana made her Grammy debut in 2013 in this floral printed dress.

John Legend

'Glory' singer, John Legend won his first Grammy back in 2005 for Best New Artist.

Miley Cyrus

She is a changed person now but when she made her first Grammy debut in 2008, Miley Cyrus looked pretty. She won her first Grammy nomination this year for Best Pop Vocal Album.

Miranda Lambert

Miranda got 4 Grammy nods this year including Best Country Album. She had her first Grammy moment when the singer won in 2011 for Best Female Country Vocal Performance.

Katy Perry

Although the 'Roar' singer never won a Grammy, she started getting nominated since 2009. This year, Katy Perry has got 2 nominations including Best Pop Vocal Album.

Iggy Azalea

Iggy is the new artists to get nominated for the first time and she made her Grammy debut last year.

U2

The legendary rock band got their first nomination in 1988 and won 2 out of 3 nods. The Irish rock band is the only group to have won 22 Grammys till now. This year too, U2 got nominated for Best Rock Album.

Chris Brown

He made his Grammy debut in 2007 and won his first trophy in 2011. This year, he got 2 nods, Best R&B Song and Best R&B Performance.

Eminem

The 'rap god' won his first nomination and won in 2000. In 2015, Eminem has got 3 nods including Best Rap Album.

Kanye West

One of the record makers in the music industry won his first Grammy in 2004.
