Though we are in the era where more and more people are going vegan by the day, some stars and known faces still take a lot of pride in wearing animals products and sometimes abusing them. You sure might have not known about these Hollywood celebrities whom PETA hates.
PETA only doesn't hate them for wearing fur, but also for using animals as their accessories. Yes, you heard it right. Celebrities like Paris Hilton love using tiny dogs to accessories their outfit. They are infamously known as 'Purse Dogs'.
If you remember, Lady Gaga once wore a dress made only of meat to Music Awards. Including her shoes, everything she was carrying was purely meat. Some poor animal's body was her attire. One's unwilling death was the other's joy!
The Olsen twins, Mary-Kate and Ashley are often seen wearing fur. Hence, PETA made a statement, "Because fur adds 20 years and 20 pounds, maybe Mary-Kate and Ashley think their matronly wardrobe will deflect the gossip about bulimia," Oops!
Jessica Simpson, the celebrity who is famous for mostly unknown reasons is also spotted in fur most of the times. Disliking the celeb much for her choice of fashion, PETA said, that the singer's fur coat was "as dead as her acting career,".
When Catherine Zeta-Jones ended on PETA's worst dressed celebrity list, PETA said, "Maybe she's trying to get into character for an upcoming role as a serial killer or a taxidermist," for dressing in fur coat and leather pants.
Amber Rose who was spotted covering her bald head with fur was missed by PETA. Else, the organization would have had something nasty to say about her career, too. Nevertheless, let's look at these celebs who are hated by PETA:
With regard to Kim wearing fur, PETA sad, Kim is a commodity, she is paid to wear things like fur, a particular makeup, or to shake hands with questionable people, so she is not a good example to a child or anyone else of how to show a social conscience..."
"What's draggin' on the floor is Kanye's reputation as a man with no empathy for animals or human beings. He's a great musician but doesn't seem to have the fashion sense to design anything more than caveman costumes." When Kanye made fun of PETA.
When she said, "Screw PETA", PETA said, "When people kill animals, it is the animals who are ‘screwed,' not PETA, and one day I hope she will try to make up for any pain she might cause any animal who did nothing but try to eke out a humble existence in nature."
"Maybe the real story behind their breakup is that Marc Anthony left because he couldn't stand looking into her morgue of a closet." Ouch, poor JLo!
When Beyonce wore a dress made of animal skin, "she'd probably not want to be seen again in anything made of snakes, lizards, rabbits, or other animals who died painfully. Today's fashions are trending toward humane vegan options, and Beyoncé's Super Bowl outfit missed the mark on that score."
On wearing fur and dress made of meat, PETA said "What's next: the family cat made into a hat? Meat is the decomposing flesh of a tormented animal who didn't want to die, and after a few hours under the TV lights, it would smell like the rotting flesh it is and likely be crawling in maggots-not too attractive, really."
For using wild animals in her video roar, PETA said, "What you may not know - as most people do not - is that animals used for entertainment in film and television endure horrific cruelty and suffer from extreme confinement and violent training methods."
About her famous 'Purse Dogs', PETA said, "Celebrities like Paris Hilton, who portray ‘purse pups' as accessories instead of living beings who require a lifetime of care, are largely to blame, as are movies like Beverly Hills Chihuahua, which also cause a rush on the "dog of the moment."
About the actress PETA once said, "Kate, there's no easier way to lose a guy in 10 days than by wearing a hairball."
