Charmi comes to town

Kannada actresses better get ready for the big fight because a pretty girl is coming to town. After acting in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam films, glamorous girl Charmi is all set to storm Sandalwood too. Yes, she is acting in a new Kannada film titled Lava Kusha being directed by Om Sai Prakash and produced by Prabhakar. And this is her first Kannada film.

The film was launched a couple of days ago with great fanfare in the presence of big Kannada film stars like Sudeep, Shivarajkumar, Upendra, Puneeth Rajkumar and Dharshan. Two Kannada power stars Shivarajkumar and Upendra are playing the lead roles in this film. This is their third film together after Preethse and Om. However, what catches the interest of the film buffs is that glamorous actress Charmi is paired opposite Upendra. Heroine Jennifer Kotwal and Shivarajkumar form the other pair.

Charmi is excited about her first project in Kannada. “I have worked in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam films already. And this is my first Kannada film. I got offers to work in a Kannada film earlier, but this is the first opportunity that I have got to face the camera. I am happy to work in this film which has two big Kannada film stars. I have heard the story of this film and it has all the ingredients of a hit film," she said.
