Producer SV Babu is once again to prove his high energy levels in the Kannada film industry. He is all set to make a Kannada film featuring all new artists. A big launch was organised recently for the benefit of the media and a few film personalities when all the new boys were introduced. It was a bit launch that was held in Bell Hotel in Bangalore where colourful dances of the six boys remained the major attraction.

Producer Babu said that now they are showcasing the training and talents of the boys who will act in the lead roles. Shivamani is the heroine of this film. SV Babu had earlier produced films like Honeymoon Express, Thenali Rama and Savi Savi Nanapu. Incidentally, Babu has already started shooting for his film Sangama which has Ganesh in the leading role. This film directed by Music arranger Ravi Verma will have Vedhika as the heroine. He also made a Telugu film Andamaina Manasulu which was directed by RP Patnayak.

The newcomers who will be working in Josh include Rakesh, Amit, Vishnuprasanna, Akshay, Alok and Jagannath. All these young boys were introduced to the media by the film's director Shivamani. Robo Ganesh, Mandya Ramesh, Karibasavaiah, Mandip Rai, Srinivasa Prabhu, Thulasi Shivamani, Sudha Belawadi are the other artists in the film.

All the six boys were selected after an elaborate talent hunt that took neary eight months time' says SV Babu. He says over 12000 applicants were scrutinized and forty people were zeroed from these applications. Later the boys were selected after putting them to a thorough testing schedule. And the training started immediately there after, says Shivamani. The camera work of this film will be handled by Santhosh Kumar Pathaje who had earlier directed the film Savi Savi Nenapu for Babu. A new music director Vardhan who is also related to legendary music director T.G.Lingappa will handle the music department of this film.

Babu said that the title of the film has been changed as Josh and the film's earlier title as Jolly Hudugru has been dropped. That is because we have changed the story of the film now. "Shivamani sir has written the story of the film now and we did not think Kulashekhar's story which was selected earlier fitted the bill of our expectations about the film' said Babu.

The muhurut for this film will take place on 20th of this month and in two schedules at Bangalore and Kerala the shooting will be completed says Shivamani.
