Tabala Naani taken into custody for 20 mins

Actor Tabala Naani, who became popular with the movies like Mata and Eddelu Manjunatha, was taken into custody for 20 minutes at Parappana Agrahara central jail. During the shooting of Sanju Weds Geetha, the jail authorities had punched a seal on all the members of the production team for identification. When the seal was not seen on Tabala Naani's arm, the jail authorities did not allow him to go out.

Director Nagashekar had told Tabala Naani to erase the seal when a scene demanded it and he removed the mark after getting permission letter of the concerned authorities. But it created confusion at the end of the day and for which he was not allowed to go out by security gaurds. At last producer Vijaya Kumar interfered and resolved the issue by showing the permission letter. Actors like Srinagar kitty, Avinash, Rangarayana Raghu were also present on the shooting spot.

Srinagar Kitty and Ramya are doing the lead roles in Sanju Weds Geetha. It also features Harish Raj, Tabala Naani, Avinash, Rangarayana Raghu in the supporting roles. This film is actor-turned-director Nagashekar's second directorial venture.
