Vaishali Kasaravalli's mortal remains laid to rest

remains
of
Kannada
actress
Vaishali
Kasaravalli,
who
died
of
kidney
failure
at
5.00
pm
on
Monday
at
Manipal
Hospital
Jayanagar
in
Bangalore,
was
laid
to
rest.
Her
funeral
was
held
according
to
her
family
tradition
at
Banashankari
Crematorium
in
Bangalore
yesterday
evening
(28th
September).
Earlier,
it
was
reported
that
her
cremation
would
be
held
at
Wilson
Garden
Crematorium
in
Bangalore.
But
it
was
shifted
to
Banshankari
due
to
traffic
problems.
Before
the
funeral,
Vaishali's
body
was
kept
for
public
darshan
at
Samsa
Rangamandir
in
Ravindra
Kala
Kshetra
Bangalore
between
12.00
and
3.00
pm.
Thousands
of
film
fraternity,
writers,
politicians,
friends
and
fans
paid
their
last
respect
to
her
departed
soul.
Her
body
was
taken
to
Banshankari
Crematorium,
where
the
final
rites
were
performed
in
the
evening.
However,
Vaishali
Kasaravalli
had
been
ailing
from
diabetic,
which
caused
her
liver
damage
and
kidney
failure.
Recently,
she
was
admitted
to
the
Manipal
Hospital
Jayanagar
in
Bangalore.
She
died
at
the
hospital
while
she
was
undergoing
dialysis
for
renal
malfunctioning.
Vaishali
had
acted
in
hundreds
of
plays,
films
and
TV
serials.
She
had
directed
a
few
popular
serials
like
'Moodala
Mane',
'Muttina
Torana'
and
'Mauna
Raga'.
She
had
even
translated
a
few
Hindi
and
Marathi
plays
to
Kannada.
Her
untimely
death
is
a
great
loss
to
the
Kannada
film
industry.

her
soul
rest
in
peace
and
may
god
give
strength
to
her
family
to
bear
her
loss.
