The dream run of Bachchan starring Sudeep, Bhavana and Parul Yadav at Sandalwood Box Office has continued as the film has made earth-shattering business in the opening week. The film, which was opened up to positive reviews from critics and audience, have created history at collection centres.
In the first week, Bachchan has grossed Rs 8 crore at Kannada Box Office of which Rs 5.5 crore is the share of the producer Uday Mehta. It has made wonderful collections at all main centres like Bangalore, Hubli, Chitradurga, Bellary and the Mangalore regions.
The producer disclosed area-wise break up with us and revealed his shares. He said, "In Bangalore, as expected, Bachchan has done good collections. In the city, it has raked in Rs 2.25 crore. Hyderabad Karnataka & Mangalore Region Business
He concludes, "When it comes to Hyderabad Karnataka region, Bachchan has raked in Rs 40 lakhs, and around 35 lakhs in the Mangalore region. The interesting part of the story is that the film has made such business without even hiking the ticket price."
Bachchan First Weekend Collection
Bachchan was released on April 11 in about 195 theatres in Karnataka. In the extended first weekend, the movie had collected Rs 5 crore (Gross) in the Kannada Box Office.
