When Shilpa Shetty Received Saree Advise From Ravichandran
Shilpa Shetty, at the age of 38, continues to impress audience with her beauty. The actress, as we all know, is Kannadiga by birth. She had acted in a few Kannada movies and was seen at her glamorous best.
The credit for bringing Shilpa Shetty goes to none other than Crazy Star Ravichandran. The Bollywood actress entered Kannada film industry with Preethsod Thappa, which was produced by well-known producer Rockline Venkatesh.
Shilpa Shetty and Ravichandran's combo had worked big time and their sparkling chemistry was one of the biggest highlights of Preethsod Thappa. The Crazy Star, who is known for showing his heroines in glam avatars, had beautifully shown her in the same movie. As a result, her first step in Sandalwood was overwhelmingly welcomed by Kannada audience.

Shilpa Shetty looked sexy and sensuous in some of the songs in Preethsod Thappa. Especially, the song 'Bangaradinda banna na tanda...' shot on Ravi and Shilpa was a chartbuster.

In the track, Shilpa Shetty sported glamorous sarees in different ways. The song was shot in beautiful locales of foreign countries.

But little less well knew about Ravichandran's contribution in showing Shilpa Shetty as sexy as ever in the songs.
Ravichandran Wonders
Well, in an interview, Ravichandran was asked about his keen interest on showing his ladies in glamorous ways, for which, he said, "I wonder why people ask me this always."
Recalls Putnanja
He says, "If you look back at my Putnanja, not only the heroine, Putmali role played by Umashri was also praised. In fact, it was the best character played by her in those days."
Ravi Explains
He said, "But people just pick only the glamorous part that heroines do in my movies." However, one could not deny that he has a strong sense of style when it comes to his co-star's costumes.
Recalls Shilpa's Incident
He himself recalled one incident and said, "See, Shilpa Shetty had sported a saree that didn't impress me. We were shooting a song in a foreign location."
Shilpa Looked Unimpressive
Ravichandran continues, "The locations were good, but I did not like the way Shilpa was wearing the saree. So, I asked her why do we need Shilpa Shetty to wear a saree like many other do?"
Shilpa Sought Suggestions...
"She asked me how do you want me to sport. I told her that it's up to you, but all I need was it should look beautiful," Ravi claims.
Shilpa Made Changes
He concludes, "Then, she came up wearing the saree differently. She was slim and she looked sexy in the song."
