Kannada
movies
are
in
deep
trouble
now.
To
the
dismay
of
the
Kannada
viewers,
many
of
the
Kannada
movies
may
get
delayed.
The
trouble
started
when
the
regional
censor
board
was
left
with
only
handful
of
members.
The
term
of
almost
everyone
in
the
censor
board
came
to
an
end
and
the
board
was
left
with
7
members
including
the
Board
Chief.
To
solve
the
problem,
the
Board
Chief
decided
to
take
the
help
of
Censor
Board
situated
in
Mumbai.
Several
movies
like
Bahuparak,
Miss
Mallige,
Aryan,
Sharan
Adhyaksha
and
Tirupathi
Express
were
censored
in
Mumbai
and
the
censor
certificates
were
given.
However,
the
Kannada
film
industry
is
in
trouble
again.
The
Chief
of
censor
board
in
Mumbai,
Rajesh
Kumar
has
been
apprehended
by
the
Central
Bureau
of
Investigation
under
the
charges
of
Bribery.
With
this,
the
censor
board
in
Mumbai
has
been
closed
for
Kannada
movies.
The
only
way
to
solve
the
problem
is
to
appoint
new
members
for
the
Regional
Censor
Board
in
Bangalore.
Unless
this
happens,
the
Kannada
movies
are
bound
to
be
delayed.
Powerstar
Puneet
Rajkumar's
upcoming
movie
Power***
was
scheduled
to
be
censored
on
August
18th
in
Mumbai.
Many
other
movies
are
reaching
completion.
All
these
movies
will
have
to
undergo
censor
certification
soon.
Censor
Board
Chief
Nagendra
Swamy
said
that
unless
government
takes
a
proactive
measure
and
appoints
new
members
for
the
board,
there
is
very
little
that
he
can
do.
According
to
the
laws,
no
movies
in
India
can
be
released
without
the
Censor
certification.
