R. Chandru's next Lakshmana - A Pure Lover Boy, through which Anup Revanna is making his debut in Kannada Film Industry, will be releasing on June 24, throughout the state in around 200 odd theaters.
Crazy Star V. Ravichandran is playing an important role in the movie. He is playing the role of a police officer after many years. Meghana Raj is paired opposite debutant Anup and heroine has very important role to play in the movie.
The movie has the screenplay and dialogues by R Chandru. Reportedly, this is the remake of Telugu Blockbuster Athannokade, which had Nandamuri Kalyanram and Sindhu Thulani playing the lead roles.
As per the team, necessary changes have been made to suit the nativity. Also a few important changes have been made to Crazy Star's character, which was played by Prakash Raj in the original.
The movie is produced by Vathsala Revanna under Panduranga Enterprises, whereas it is presented by Anup's father, politician H M Revanna. Santhosh Rai Pathaje is the director of photography and KM Prakash is the editor.
Action sequences composed by Thriller Manju and Raviverma are said to be highlight of the movie. The way Anup has done the action sequences has given him Action Hero Tag, even before the release of his first movie.
B H Baasha of Bahar Enterprises is releasing the movie throughout the state and this ensures that the movie will get a good release. With an impressive star cast, movie is poised to take a decent opening at box office when the movie releases June 24.
