Hundreds
of
directors/writers
narrate
scripts
to
the
star
heroes,
but
only
a
few
of
these
are
picked
up
by
them.
The
other
scripts
don't
materialise
at
all,
or
the
respective
directors
might
go
forward
with
another
hero.
Here
we
have
listed
four
such
films
which
were
written
keeping
our
star
heroes
in
mind
or
films
wherein,
the
director
felt
that
particular
hero
would
suit
in
the
bill
perfectly.
Lucia
This
Pawan
Kumar
directorial,
which
was
widely
appreciated
by
audience
worldwide
was
initially
offered
to
Kichcha
Sudeep.
But
Pawan
could
not
meet
Sudeep,
because
of
latter's
busy
schedule
which
made
Pawan
to
start
the
movie
with
a
newcomer
Sathish.
Mungaru
Male
Yogaraj
Bhat
had
visualized
Power
Star
Puneeth
in
the
iconic
character
of
Preetham.
Yogaraj
tried
meeting
Appu
to
narrate
the
script
but
he
did
not
get
a
chance
to
do
so,
may
be
because
his
previous
film
Ranga
SSLC,
was
not
a
hit.
Kendasampige
Suri
had
plans
of
doing
this
movie
with
Challenging
Star
Darshan
and
producer
Ramu,
but
this
didn't
take
off
for
the
reasons
better
known
to
Suri.
Later
when
this
was
made,
Rajesh
played
the
role
written
for
Darshan
with
a
number
of
changes
made
to
the
script.
Rangitaranga
Rakshit
Shetty
was
initially
approached
for
this
project.
Even
though
he
loved
the
subject,
he
could
not
be
part
of
this
because
he
was
busy
with
other
commitments.
This
made
Anup
rope
in
his
brother
Nirup,
who
was
appreciated
for
his
subtle
performance.
Not
only
Kannada
films,
there
are
a
few
other
language
films
as
well,
which
our
stars
could
not
be
a
part
of.
Bhajrangi
Bhaijaan
As
producer
Rockline
Venkatesh
revealed
in
a
press
meet,
initially
Puneeth
was
approached
to
play
Salman
Khan's
role.
Appu
could
not
take
up
the
project
for
unknown
reasons.
Rai
The
film
was
announced
with
Kichcha
Sudeep
playing
the
title
role.
Later
on,
Bollywood
actor
Vivek
Oberoi,
was
roped
in
to
play
the
lead
role.
As
per
the
sources,
Sudeep
was
not
impressed
with
the
script.
Apart
from
these
movies,
there
are
a
number
of
films
which
our
heroes
did
not
want
to
be
a
part
of.
Some
films
did
not
make
much
noise
at
the
box-office,
which
validated
that
the
actors' decisions
were
right.
Who
knows
what
would
have
been
the
result
of
Mungaru
Male,
if
Appu
had
played
the
lead
role
or
if
Lucia
would
have
been
as
successful
as
it
was,
if
Kichcha
Sudeep
had
played
the
lead
role.
We
leave
you
to
ponder...
