Director Abhay Simha had revealed that Sakkare is the adaptation of the small stories 'The Last Leaf', which is written by Oh Henry. The movie is another love story, where the hero will be successful in impressing the heroine with his sense of humour.
Sakkare deals with the story of a common man Vineeth (Ganesh) and a stubborn girl Neha (Deepa Sannidhi). Vineeth will be seen helping people in and around his locality while Neha is depressed because of love failure. She visits her sister's place, which will be near to Vineeth's place.
Vineeth comes to Neha's sister's place to lend a cup of Sugar (Sakkare), where he irritates Neha, with his chatter box attitude, and this is how their story starts. This is the reason why the makers have given this title 'Sakkare' to the film.
What makes Vineeth to fall in love with Neha? Will Vineeth be successful in impressing the stubborn girl? Will the movie end in sad tone as Mungaru Male or will be a happy ending as Gaalipata? Watch the movie Sakkare to get answers.

There is nothing new in Ganesh's acting. He has maintained the same body language and dialogue delivery style, which was seen in Mungaru Male and Gaalipata. The dialogue 'Vineeth, vinee, the winner, the baazigar' irritates to the audience to the core.
A glamorous doll, Deepa Sannidhi needs to improve a lot. She has again recycled the stubborn girl role, which was seen in Paramathma.
Ace actor Ananth Nag and Vinaya Prasad are still young enough to play the lead roles in the movie. Movie has also brought back the evergreen beauty of Sandalwood Anu Prabhakar as Neha's sister.
Achyuth Kumar has filled the place of a comedian. He has done an amazing role as an Ayuvedic Doctor, where he makes the crowd laugh.
Director Abhay Simha has planned the story and screenplay very well. But somewhere Abhay lacks implementing it on screen.
Cinematography is the main highlight of the movie. Cinematographer Dr Vikram Srivastava will take the audience to the unknown places of Hassan, Sahyadri forest range and North Karnataka region.
Certainly listeners will be happy to hear the songs, which is scored by the 'Master of Music', V Harikrishna. Hari has composed music with Yogaraj Bhat and Jayanth Kaikini, which is the main highlight of music.
Ganesh has even tried to reach mass audience with the action scenes. He is seen performing some stunts on the top of a boat, which is watchable.
The drawback of the movie is its slow pace in the first half. Also, there is nothing new in Ganesh's acting. Please watch the movie only if you are a hardcore fan of Golden star.
