Now, after a hiatus of 13 years, she is set to make her return to Tamil cinema with the film "The Door," directed by her brother Jayadev. The movie, produced by Bhavana's husband Naveen Rajan under their banner JuneDreams Studios, has unveiled a grand birthday gift to Bhavana in the form of a captivating first look poster.
"The Door" features Bhavana in the lead role and is a multilingual project, set to be released in four languages. The film holds great significance for Bhavana's fans, who eagerly anticipate her comeback in Tamil cinema.
With an illustrious career spanning over two decades, Bhavana has established herself as one of the leading heroines of South India, showcasing her talent across various languages such as Malayalam, Telugu, Kannada, and Tamil. Having graced the screens in more than 80 films across different genres, Bhavana continues to captivate audiences with her versatile performances.
Prior to "The Door," Bhavana's last Tamil film was "Aasal" in 2010, where she played the female lead opposite Ajith. Additionally, she remains active in Kannada cinema, with two upcoming movies, "Pink Note" and "Case of Kondana," slated for release this year. Bhavana is also set to portray the lead role in the Malayalam film "Hunt," directed by Shaji Kailas.
