Narain busy shooting for Veeraputhran

Popular actor Narain is now busy shooting for the Malayalam movie Veeraputhran. The filming of the period drama is going on at a brisk pace in Kozhikode. Recently, the first set of pictures of the movie was released online by the film bosses. These images hit on the romantic scenes between Narain and Raima Sen.

Veeraputhran is being directed by PT Kunju Mohammed. The historical movie is based on the life of freedom fighter Mohammed Abdul Rahiman. Pattanam Rasheed is the make up man and MJ Radhakrishnan is handling the camera work for the film, which is being shot on the sets created by art director Bobban in Kozhikode, Mukkam, Ottapalam and Kodungaloor.

Narain is essaying the role of Mohammed Abdul Rahiman, while Raima Sen appears as his wife Kunhi Beevathu. Lakshmi Gopalaswamy, Siddique, Kalabhavan Mani, Sai Kumar, Devan, Valsala Menon, and Sajitha Madathil are also in the cast of the film, which is slated to release in September.
