Taruni Sachdev was like my daughter: Priyadarshan

Child actress Taruni Sachdev's sudden demise was a cruel decision by the almighty. The morning news about the adorable Rasna girl's cruel demise left filmmaker Priyadarshan numb with disbelief.

Priyadarshan defines Taruni as an obedient and a disciplined actress. The filmmaker admits that he used to treat Taruni as his own daughter, hence it's hard to belief that the lovely girl dosen't exist anymore.

"I've shot two or three ads with her. I'll tell you one thing. I've worked with lots and lots of child actors in both feature films and ads. Usually they're spoilt brats. Not Taruni. She was a very obedient child and a disciplined actress," Priyan said. "I treated Taruni like my own daughter. I've a daughter of about the same age. And when I was shooting with Taruni, I'd see my daughter in her," he added.
