Dileep's Nadodi Mannan Releasing Date Confirmed

Nadodi Mannan is an upcoming movie directed by Vijy Thampi. Dileep, Ananya, Mythili and Archana Kavi are playing lead roles in the film. The movie is getting released on August 23.

In Nadodi Mannan, Dileep plays the role of Padmanabhan, a village youth. Though a son of an ardent politician, Padmanabhan has no particular inclination to any political party. He finds his means of living by participating in demonstrations for various political parties. He then moves on to the city, where he gets elected as the Mayor. He then starts his ways to clean the city.

Ananya is seen playing the role of Meera, a bold character. Archana Kavi plays the role of Athira, a member of a former royal family. Mythili is seen as Rima, a broadcast journalist.

Padmanabhan befriends with Rima during his days as the Mayor. She helps him bring to light certain crucial issues before the public. Bollywood actor Sayaji Shinde plays the role of the villain in the film, who is in odd terms with Padmanabhan.

The other cast includes Nedumudi Venu, Janardhanan, Salim Kumar and Suraj Venjarammoodu. Krishnan Poojappura has done the scripting for Nadodi Mannan. The movie is produced under the banner of Chithram Films. Cinematography is by Sanjeev Sankar and music is scored by Vidyasagar.

Nanodi Mannan

The movie has a comedy narration throughout. Sayaji Shinde, who has played certain notable roles in Telugu and Tamil, makes his entry to Malayalam with this film. Nadodi Mannan is a social satire being told in a humorous way.

Dileep

Dileep is once again seen as a politician with Nadodi Mannan. He was last seen playing this role in his movie Lion, in 2006. Kavya Madhavan played his female lead in Lion.

Ananya

Ananya is making a huge come back after her marriage. Her wedding was a much hyped news among the media. She has earlier portrayed a bold character in Shikkar, opposite Mohanlal.

Mythili

She made her debut with Ranjith movie Paleri Manikyam. She has done stunts in one of her upcoming movie without any dupe. Her role in Salt n Pepper was very much appreciated.

Archana Kavi

Archana Kavi made her debut with Lal Jose movie Neelathamara, a sequel to the old film. She won the Best Debut Actress for that movie. Mummy & Me is her much appreciated film.

Tough Competition

Nadodi Mannan will be facing a tough competition after its release in August. Movies like Neelakasham, Pachakadal Chuvanna Bhoomi, Kadal Kadannu Oru Mathukutty, Memories, Chennai Express, Thalaivaa also getting ready for an August release.
