Kerala Film Chamber bans Rima Kallingal
Rima Kallingal's films have been banned by Kerala Film Chamber to show their disappointment in the actress for disregarding the notice of Chamber.
Some time back, a warning was given by Chamber to stars, who are engaged with anchoring programmes in channels. The list includes Siddique, Rima Kallingal, Archana Kavi, Suraj Venjaramoodu and Kaniha. All others except Rima replied to AMMA and Film Chamber. While all other stars decided to cooperate, Rima Kallingal continued to attend a TV show in a Malayalam Channel and did not respond. So the Chamber has decided to take strong action against her.
No movies of Rima will be released or produced after May 15. Suresh Gopi, who is also anchoring in a channel said, he will not sign any movies during the period of his work in channels. Jagadeesh said, he has already acquired consent from Film Chamber as he has to co-operate with the channel in line with a contract.
