Jayaram's
latest
outing
Onnum
Mindathe
hit
the
theaters
on
last
Saturday
(March
30),
where
reviews
rated
it
to
be
a
one
time
watchable
flick.
Many
felt
the
movie
to
have
some
similarities
with
the
old
flick
Aalolam,
and
even
the
director
of
the
film
Sugeeth
gave
courtesy
to
the
latter.
Now
the
movie
has
landed
up
in
a
controversy,
and
is
likely
to
face
legal
issues.
Mohan,
director
of
Aalolam,
has
come
forward
claiming
that
Sugeeth,
though
has
given
a
courtesy
to
his
movie
Aalolam,
did
not
ask
his
permission.
He
said
that
he
was
ignorant
that
Onnum
Mindathe
is
a
reflection
of
his
old
movie
Aalolam.
Aalolam
was
released
in
1982,
starring
Bharath
Gopi,
Nedumudi
Venu
and
KR
Vijaya
in
lead
roles.
The
script
and
dialogues
of
the
movie
was
written
by
the
director
along
with
the
writer
John
Paul.
Now,
in
Onnum
Mindathe,
these
roles
have
been
replaced
and
that
is
the
only
difference
claims
Mohan.
Onnum
Mindathe
is
produced
by
Safeer
Sait
under
the
banner
of
Khurban
films.
Rajesh
Raghavan
had
written
the
screenplay
of
Onnum
Mindathe
to
entertain
the
new
generation,
claiming
it
to
be
a
pure
family
entertainer.
Now,
what
Sugeeth
has
to
say
on
this
take
of
Mohan?
We
have
to
wait
and
see!
