No Fallout With Jayasurya, Says 'IDI' Director Sajid Yahiya

Jayasurya, the versatile actor was rumoured to have had an ugly fallout with IDI aka Inspector Dawood Ibrahim director Sajid Yahiya. But, Sajid bitterly denied the rumours, through his official Facebook page recently.

Recently, some popular online news portals had reported that Jayasurya was miffed with Sajid, after the director insulted the senior cinematographer-director Azhagappan, who visited the sets of IDI to meet the actor.

According to the reports, Sajid chose to ignore Azhagappan. When Jayasurya questioned about his rude behaviour, the director insulted him stating that he doesn't know Azhagappan and there is no need to wish a stranger.

The actor was extremely shocked and disappointed to see the young director's arrogance, thrashed him for his inappropriate behaviour. The media also report that it was the reason behind Jayasurya's disinterest in IDI promotions.

But Sajid Yahiya, who brushed off the rumours, revealed that Azhagappan has never visited Jayasurya on the sets of IDI, nor he had disrespected him. He has also posted a screenshot of Azhagappan's message, as a proof.

He stated that the news is just an imaginary story, cooked up by the online portals. The director points out IDI has been attacked by the social media since the day of its release and a pirated copy was leaked online.

Sajid remarked that Jayasurya and the entire IDI team have offered him their complete support over the issue. Sajid concluded his note, by requesting the media representatives to withdraw the false reports and respect online journalism.
