19th Asianet Film Awards Declared
The much prestigious Asianet Film Awards for the films released in 2016 was declared in a grand function that was held in Kochi. Mohanlal was adjudged the Best Actor(Oppam, Pulimurugan) whereas Manju Warrier(Vettah) was selected as the Best Actress. Oppam was adjudged the best film and Pulimurugan won the award for the most popular film.
Nadirshah's Next In Malayalam Is With Mammootty
Nadirshah, after the success of his recent film Kattappanayile Rithwik Roshan, will direct Mammootty in his next Malayalam project. Interestingly, Mammootty will be seen in the role of a dwarf in this upcoming film, which will be scripted by Benny P Nayarambalam.

Now, all eyes are on the next big Malayalam release of the year. This week would witness the arrival of Siddique's big budget venture Fukri. The film is all set to hit the theatres on February 3, 2017.
Fukri, which features Jayasurya in the lead role is said to be the most expensive movie of Jayasurya, so far. The pre-release hype for the movie is pretty good and Fukri is expected to open big at the theatres.
