Unni Mukundan Forays Into Direction With Mammootty Project!

Unni Mukundan, the charming young actor has already made a place for himself in the Malayalam movie industry. Now, Unni is all set to foray into the most important aspect of the industry, direction.

Reportedly, the actor is planning to work as an assistant director in the upcoming Mammootty project, directed by scriptwriter Sethu. Unni Mukundan is planning to take a break from acting, to learn direction.

As per the reports, lead actor Mammootty has offered his complete support for Unni's new attempt. The actor is highly excited about starting the new phase of his career, with a Mammootty project.

Unni Mukundan is currently on a high with the tremendous success of his Telugu debut, Janatha Garage. The actor shared the screen with Mohanlal and Jr. NTR in the movie, directed by Koratala Siva.

The actor has earlier shared the screen with Mammootty in the popular movies Bombay March 12, Rajadhi Raja, and Fireman. Unni Mukundan has teamed up with Sethu, for Vysakh-directed blockbuster Mallu Singh.

The Mammootty-Sethu movie, which is said to be a complete family entertainer, will start rolling by mid-2017. The team is expected to reveal the title of the movie, female lead, and rest of the star cast, soon.
